Tumeke enterprise youth awards

The Tumeke Enterprise Youth Awards recognize and celebrates the hard work and achievement of young people from regional New Zealand (outside of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch). There are Six awards that are up for grabs, nominations open on April 1st and are open until May 1st. You can nominate yourself or someone you know for any or the awards below as long as you meet the criteria of nominating.

The Youth Awards Gala Dinner will be hosted on Friday 12th July 2019 at the South Waikato Sports and Event Center, Tokoroa, South Waikato.
Shortlisted nominations will be automatically accepted to attend the Tumeke Enterprise Youth Summit and will attend the Youth Awards.

Supreme Leadership Award
The Tumeke Enterprise Supreme Leadership Award is awarded to a youth that showcases high talent and passion to changing the world.
Leadership in Sports Award
Is awarded to a youth that showcases leadership in any area of sports, this could include as a player, coach, manager, volunteer. This person aims to inspire other young people to become active in sports, respects and follows sport code of conducts and is a proud ambassador of the sports industry.
Community Service Award
Is awarded to a youth that showcases leadership within their community, involved in community groups and contributes to improving the well-being of those from their community. They show passion in improving the well-being and living standards of their community.
Māori/Cultural Leadership Award
Is awarded to a youth that showcases leadership within their culture, is involved in cultural activities, this may include learning the native language, participating in cultural events or teaching others about their culture.
Women Leadership Award
Is awarded to a youth that showcases leadership in empowering women leadership, advocates for equal rights and is involved in improving the ability for women to access opportunities.
Leadership in the arts Award
Is awarded to a youth that showcases leadership in the arts, this may include fine arts, visual arts, plastic arts, performing arts, applied arts and decorative arts. They use their ability of arts to inspire and motivate other young people to become confident and step outside of their comfort zone.
